Gunpowder Chinese tea leaves are steamed, rolled up firmly in small balls and then dried. This process allows to the leaves to maintain their exquisite taste and seductive aroma. The Chinese name for Gunpowder tea is Zhu Cha, which means tea pearls for its appearance similar to glossy gray pearls.
